The first verse of this song was written by Chuck Nasty of GRYSCL with Maxamillian(Millz) of GRYSCL, due to the fact that Chuck was instantly inspired by the instrumental. Millz unfortunately was still in the process of writing his verse and they were both in the process of figuring out the chorus before Millz transcended.

The second verse was written by Chuck before Millz's memorial celebration at Longstreet's Deli, and the chorus was written a day later.

The story behind this song in the context of the entire Ghost and the Shell project is to illustrate how Chuck tries to tap into feelings of inspiration and triumph to overcome traumatic experiences in life, and the mood he often finds himself tapping into in order to do so.
